MAGIC provides mentors to young women who are survivors of sex trafficking living in the residential housing program by non-profit organization, Images of Glory. MAGIC’s work stems from the programs roots as the first comprehensive project for incarcerated young women in the state of Florida. Though JLGO and MAGIC are no longer serving incarcerated youth, we continue to provide monthly programming. JLGO volunteers nurture the self-esteem of MAGIC participants by providing support, encouragement, and educational services. Sessions cover enriching topics such as women’s health, bullying, self-esteem, mental health, career options, domestic violence, nutrition, etc.
