First Little Black Dress Initiative Success

During the week of March 6-9, 2017, LBDI advocates wore the same black dress for four consecutive days to illustrate the effects poverty can have on our society. By wearing a button that read  “Ask Me About My Dress,”participants invited dialogue among colleagues, friends, and strangers to raise awareness about poverty. The JLGO is happy to announce we raised over $14,000 during our first initiative! Thank you to all those who participated.
